Mihaela Belacurencu - MSc student
Mihaela Belacurencu is a Master’s student in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University and an intern at the LDM lab. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Titu Maiorescu University in Romania, where her thesis focused on motivational biases and statistical learning.
At the LDM lab, she continues to pursue her interests in learning and biases by working together with Soha Farboud and Floris van der Werff to investigate the causal role of the striatum in decision-making. Her work involves applying transcranial ultrasonic stimulation (TUS) in a gamified adaptation of the Go/No-Go task, aiming to contribute to our understanding of motivational behavior, particularly action coding in Pavlovian biases, and its neurobiological implementation.
