Xiaochen Zheng - Post-doc
Xiaochen started as a postdoc in 2019 with Hanneke den Ouden and Roshan Cools, at the Donders Center for Cognitive Neuroimaging. Besides, she also functions as a coordinating postdoc at the Dutch research consortium Language in Interaction.
After obtaining a B.Sc in Psychology at Beijing Normal University (China), Xiaochen moved to the Netherlands for a joint research master program at Tilburg University and Radboud University, where she received her training in psycholinguistics and cognitive neuroscience (Cum Laude). In 2015, Xiaochen started her PhD at the Donders Institute, investigating cognitive control and monitoring processes in bilingual speech production using both electrophysiological and behavioral measurements. Besides her PhD thesis, she also closely collaborated on a MEG project on neuroplasticity after stroke.
